WHO ARE THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS?

Fr. Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882. We are the world’s largest Catholic Fraternal Organization striving for betterment of the community through acts of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Fr. McGivney vision was to also provide financial assistance in the event of the men’s death to their widows and orphans. Today we still provide an excellent Life Insurance program to render aid to its members and the beneficiaries of members.

WHO CAN BECOME A KNIGHT?

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practical Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who shall not be less than 18 years of age on their last birthday. A practical Catholic is one who lives up to The Commandments of Godand The Precepts of the Church.
